X axis: Stepper motor driven fully encased linear cylinder

Y axis: Stepper motor driven fully encased linear cylinder

Z axis: Optional fixed stroke pneumatic cylinder or stepper motor driven fully encased linear cylinder

Traverse speed: Typically up to 100mm per second

Positional accuracy: +/- 0.1mm
Programming facility: PC protocol with CAD co-ordinate acceptance
